Be a part of something great!
We are excited to announce that our “Not Just Men & Muddy Boots” campaign launches today and will be distributed to every high school and college through the Careers and Enterprise network. The campaign, which was generated by the sector, aims to tackle the skills shortage, and promote enthusiasm for careers in construction.
The release of the campaign proves that great things can happen when we work together, but this is just the beginning. Here’s what you can do to play your part:
- Download the video and share it at every opportunity. Put it on your websites, on your social media streams, and use it during social value activities with young people.
- Display the signs on your hoarding as part of your social value commitment. The more people who see the video, the greater chance we have of the campaign succeeding.
- Upload videos to the Save Construction TikTok page and be creative. Show the varied job roles in action. If we want to entice young people, we need to be visible in their world.
- Use the hashtags #notjustmen&muddyboots, #notjustmenandmuddyboots, and #bepartofsomethinggreat! Don’t forget to tag The Save Construction Initiative.
Please share our campaign video which features figureheads such as Andy Burnham, Steve Rotheram, young construction professionals, and Instagram influencer Danielle Spencer. It is specifically targeted at young people, NEETs, and those considering alternative careers.
